Our playground area is need of a large amount of improvements. We're raising funds to cover these improvements.
Our plan is to extend the play area by building a retaining wall near the building and covering up the dirt. This means the dirt won't get on to the blacktop (safety, it makes it slippery). We will have a dedicated area for football, soccer, and volleyball. We will make the four squares fit teen bodies (they are so small!) and work on more shade and tables for games. The dead grass area will either be turf, playground rubber, or concrete depending on bids and what we find best suited for the students.
